PlaceholderThis is a draft prepared for review. Have it checked by a qualified lawyer before launch.

This policy explains how PeerGrowth (“we”, “us”) processes your personal data when you visit peergrowth.in, contact us, or use our products. We act as a Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the rules made under it.

1. What we collect

  • Details you give us: name, work email, mobile number, company, industry, ad budget range and your message when you fill in a form or contact us.
  • Communication records: emails, WhatsApp messages and call notes when we talk to you.
  • Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security and reliability.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18, and we do not collect sensitive financial or government ID data through this website.

2. Why we use it

We process your personal data only for purposes you have consented to, or as otherwise allowed by law:

  • to respond to your enquiry and schedule calls or demos;
  • to send information about our services that you have asked for;
  • to provide our services and products if you become a client;
  • to keep the website secure and to meet our legal obligations.

3. Consent

When you submit a form, we ask for your consent to contact you by phone, WhatsApp and email. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to the Grievance Officer below or replying “STOP” to any WhatsApp message. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers (Data Processors) who help us run our business, such as cloud hosting, CRM and messaging providers. They are bound by contract to process it only on our instructions. We may disclose data where required by law.

5. Where it is stored

Data is stored with reputable cloud providers. If data is transferred outside India, we do so only to countries not restricted by the Central Government under the DPDP Act, and with appropriate safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after our last interaction, unless you become a client, in which case we keep it for the duration of our contract and as required by tax and accounting laws. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

  • get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected and updated;
  • have your data erased when it is no longer needed for the purpose you consented to;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity;
  • have your grievances addressed by us, and if unresolved, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Security

We use reasonable security safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls and regular reviews, to protect personal data against breach. If a breach occurs, we will notify affected people and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

9. Grievance Officer

For any request or complaint about your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer at hello@peergrowth.in. We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
